Golden Conure Prints
The world famous wildlife artist Grant Hacking
has painted this wonderful piece of two adult and one adolescent Golden
Conures to help us raise money for our World Parrot Trust-USA Golden Conure
Survival Fund. The artist has agreed to let the WPT produce prints of this
painting in full size (20" X 30") on canvas. 100% of the proceeds from
the prints will go directly to the fund. We will be offering 250 signed,
limited edition prints with a certificate of authenticity for the price
of $165.00 US, plus $10.00 US shipping and handling. We are also be offering
20 enhanced artist's proofs. Enhanced proofs have had brush strokes added
by the artist; therefore, they are all unique. The artist's proofs are
$330.00 plus $10.00 US shipping and handling. The original painting is
now being auctioned off in a silent aution that will last from November
15, 2001 through Decenber 31, 2001. To place

The process used to make the prints is referred
to as "Giclee". In French it means "to spray". This process allows us to
duplicate the painting on canvas with remarkable detail and resemblance
to the original. The dies used are archival dies that are estimated to
last for 200 years. Prints made using this process are usually valued at
25% of the value of the original.
Grant Hacking is world famous for his African
big game paintings. Some have sold for 10s of thousands of dollars . You

Grant has agreed to do more paintings for the purpose of raising money
for dedicated WPT survival funds.
Because of Grant's remarkable talents, his
fame as an artist, and the value of prints manufactured using this process,
these prints should be worth as much as 10 times or more what you will
pay for them. They are now available through our US
and UK administrators.
Please Note: This painting should be
viewed with your monitor set at a resolution of at least 832 x 624 and
also set to at least 16 bit color for PCs or thousands of colors for Macintosh
computers. Twenty-four bit color is best for PCs and millions of colors
is best for Macintosh. Because of the variance in monitors, your monitor
may not duplicate the actual color of this painting.
